Denée Kiara Rudder

Denée Rudder is a recent journalism grad from one of Canada’s top journalism schools, Toronto Metropolitan University - formerly known as Ryerson University. She is currently furthering her education and working towards a Master's in Professional Communication while pursuing entrepreneurial endeavours with her self-care business, My Centrepeace, and freelancing her creative skills. Denée has experience in public relations, social media management, content creation, digital marketing, and multimedia storytelling. In addition to her professional background, her current areas of interest are social justice issues, the environment, and wellness. One of Denée’s most noteworthy projects is her interactive map of environmental racism throughout Canada. Denée combined her passion for social justice, the environment, and creativity to create a multimedia interactive map that takes the audience through a tour around Canada exploring environmental racism in the country. The interactive map features stories from Nova Scotia, Alberta, Yukon, Manitoba, and Ontario.
