Jasmine Hudson

Born and raised in Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia.  In 2016 she graduated from Dalhousie Schulich School of Law and moved to Toronto, Ontario after finishing Law School. Moving to Toronto had its ups and downs and Jasmine questioned if she even wanted to become a lawyer. Unlike most of her Law school peers, Jasmine didn’t get the opportunity to summer at any Law firms leading up to finishing school and it was extremely difficult to find an articling position. She eventually found an articling position at the Durham Community Legal Clinic in Oshawa, ON. She wrote the bar and didn’t pass the first time. In March 2018, Jasmine passed the Ontario bar exam. She finished articling in April 2018 and got called to the bar on June 27, 2018. She immediately found a first year associate position at a firm law, and worked there for a bit. She also co-owned a law firm in the GTA for four years. In October 2022, she gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy and continued working. After giving birth to her son, she stepped out on faith and opened her own law firm, Hudson Law Office Professional Corporation. Who knew a little girl from Cherry Brook raised by a Village would own her own law firm. She did it. And you can do it!
