Paige Williams

Paige Williams is from the beautiful community of East Preston. Paige is a trailblazer, being the First Black Female to enroll in the Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice Program in all of Nova Scotia. Paige has a passion for her people and her community and is respected and admired by both young and old. She extends herself in many different capacities within the church, and Rec Centre ensuring appropriate programming and equal opportunities for all community members. It’s because of this passion and dedication that she was a recipient of the HRM Volunteer Award in 2021 and the HRM CAO’s Award of Excellence in 2022. She prides herself in being an advocate, giving back and being the best mom to her beautiful daughter Zyairah.
