Tynan Gannett

Tynan is 22 years of age, from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and going into his 3rd year on Team Canada for beach volleyball. He started out in the sport training in the summers with team Nova Scotia in preparation for the 2022 Niagara Canada games where they finished 4th. 4 months later, he travelled to Toronto, Ontario and tried out for Team Canada, and has lived there ever since. Since joining Team Canada, he’s been to 10 different countries and has won 4 medals at Norceca and Youth Norceca events for Canada. This year his goals are to run a youth beach volleyball camp back home, and attend world championships in November in Australia. Tynan is also pushing to qualify for the Olympics in LA 2028 over the next 4 years.
