Brianna Willis

Brianna, from Lake Loon, Nova Scotia, is an elementary school teacher committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and respected. She strives to inspire a love of learning and ensure that all students have the support they need to succeed academically and personally. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Social Justice and Community Studies from Saint Mary’s University. Then went on to complete a Bachelor’s of Education at St.Francis Xavier University. While completing her degrees she played women’s varsity rugby. She was recently honoured as one of the many Academic All-Canadian student athletes for 2023-2024. Earning an 80% or above average while using a year of eligibility. Brianna is driven by positivity and uplifting those around her. Whether it be her infectious smile or contagious laugh, Brianna strives to encourage youth to be themselves and embrace their differences and talents.
