Pastor Kadel Brown

Kadel is blessed to be engaged to the most beautiful and intelligent woman, Kyla Simmons. They are counting down the days to their wedding on June 21, 2025, as they prepare to start their lifelong journey together. Kadel is the youngest of five, raised in the vibrant community of East Preston by his loving grandparents and incredible mother, who taught him to always “keep it real.” Their unwavering guidance instilled in him a foundation of faith, authenticity, and perseverance. Today, he is proud to serve as the Lead Pastor of Word in Action Ministries International, one of the youngest influential pastors in Nova Scotia. His mission is to break systemic barriers, inspire this generation to achieve their full potential, and lead others to a genuine and transformative relationship with Jesus Christ. His journey hasn’t been easy. He’s faced systemic challenges, and many even from “colleagues” in ministry, but he never let that stop him. Those experiences strengthened his resolve to build opportunities for growth, unity, and transformation in his church and community. As Kadel steps into this next season with his First Lady by his side, he is excited to continue serving and building a legacy of faith and empowerment for generations to come.
