Reynold Thomas is an award-winning Visual Artist, Mentor, and Speaker and founder of R. Thomas Art an art-based organization that advances creativity, education and entrepreneurship, while amplifying creative voices. Working to show a perfect mix of exquisite beauty and raw strength, Reynold’s art is marked by distinct colour selections and bridges abstract and figurative art to capture on canvas what transcends reality. Reynold’s artistic work has been included in international exhibitions, along with local success by having his work shown in the Art Gallery of Ontario as well as a solo exhibition at the Withrow Common Gallery (CNE) in 2023. Reynold is ByBlack's top Visual Artist in Canada 2019 and 2020. He has spoken for Staples and TM University, curated exhibitions for CAMH, and hosted workshops for Toronto District School Board, Nia Centre for the Art and is the Creative Director for Figuration. Reynold is continually building his audiences to explore and engage with creativity in a new way.
